We have 74 new community cases today ... 68 in Auckland and 31 unlinked.
There are six infections in Waikato.
In total, 562 people are isolating across 216 households - made up of cases and close contacts.
Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says their ethnicities and ages are very similar to the overall number of cases.
He says about half of daily cases are Maori, 30 percent New Zealand European and the rest Pasifika and other ethnic groups.
