Ghislaine  Maxwell was "number two" in the hierarchy of Jeffrey Epstein's employees

This evidence from the testimony of a former pilot at Maxwell's sex-abuse trial in Manhattan.

The 59-year-old socialite has pleaded not guilty to eight counts of sex trafficking and other crimes, including two perjury charges that will be tried at a later date.

She faces up to 80 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Pilot Lawrence Visoski has told day two of Maxwell's trial, that Epstein hired Maxwell in the 1990s to manage his properties and other aspects of his personal life, so he could focus on his businesses.

He told jurors Ghislaine Maxwell was number two, while Jeffery Epstein was a big number one.
