The construction sector is laying a solid foundation for future growth

A report by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment forecasts infrastructure activity will reach 11.2-billion dollars in 2026.
Construction's the fourth largest employer, with more than 280-thousand people working in the industry for the year ending September.
Master Builders Federation chief executive David Kelly says it's not surprising with the boom in residential development, which makes up nearly 60 percent of total construction.
