Tauranga City Council has revealed it's paid nearly 30 million dollars, as its part of an out-of-court settlement over historical defective building claims for a Mount Maunganui building

It was alleged the Pacific Apartments, built in 2006, had weather-tightness problems, as well as structural and passive fire issues.
The council and other parties settled with the owners for a confidential sum this month.
