Moana Pasifika's Super Rugby Pacific debut has been tackled by Covid

Seven members of the new franchise have tested positive for the virus, forcing the postponement of their season-opening match with the Blues at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

They are isolating in their Queenstown hotel.

The Highlanders - who were meant to face Moana Pasifika in a pre-season match - will join the Chiefs and the Blues for a game of three halves today.
