Queenstown Airport's profit has tumbled by 63 percent ... after flights between Auckland and Queenstown shut down for months

Net profit has plunged to 810 thousand dollars for the final half of last year.
Queenstown Airport Corporation chairwoman, Adrienne Young-Cooper, says the 178 days without services to and from Auckland created an extreme business challenge.
It wasn't helped by the trans-Tasman bubble only opening from April to July.
