    Thousands of students and hundreds of teachers across the country have had covid


    New data from the Ministry of Education shows 56 percent of schools across the country have seen cases in the past 10 days.

    The majority are in Auckland, with close to 300 teachers and three-thousand 300 students currently isolating with the virus.

    Nearly 90 percent of primary and secondary schools across the city are dealing with cases right now.

    More than 300 cases have also been detected in Early Childcare Centres in New Zealand.
