The White Ferns scored 265 with the bat, with the opener leading the way, top scoring with 126.
Bates is the first player to score a century in four different World Cups, with the other three coming in 2009, 2013 and 2017.
Captain Sophie Devine says Bates will go down as one of New Zealand's greatest players, but is just as good a person too.
