Unite Against Covid research from mid-March shows 76 percent of us stay at home when feeling sick or unwell.
That's up three percent since January.
Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield says the same proportion self-isolate while waiting for a test result.
He says three quarters are using face masks in shops and on public transport.
Bloomfield says people are less willing to comply with vaccine passes and the Covid tracer app, but no longer need to.
