The Health Ministry is reminding people they need a place to isolate if they catch covid

It's reporting about nine and half thousand cases of covid-19 in the community today ... with 528 people in hospital and 16 deaths.
About three quarters of the eligible population have had three jabs ... for Maori it's 56 percent and for Pasifika, 58 percent.
The Ministry says if people catch covid over Easter, they need to self-isolate and likely remain wherever they are when they test positive or become a household contact.
It's reminding people they could face extra costs for additional accommodation and changing travel plans.
