A study's found Covid-19 deaths on weekends are higher than weekdays

The University of Toronto in Canada analysed all deaths reported to the World Health Organisation between March 2020, and March 2022.
Overall, the average number of global deaths from the virus was six percent higher on weekends compared with weekdays.
Researchers accept reporting delays could be a factor, but say shortfalls in clinical staffing, capacity and experience at weekends were also likely to play a role.
