Invercargill Police investigating the murder of a young father are asking residents in the suburb of Richmond to keep an eye out for a knife

A 26-year-old has been charged with the death of Chad Purekura and attempting to murder Austin McGregor.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Baird says it's thought a knife up to 30 centimetres long may have been disposed of in the area, and finding it will greatly assist the investigation.
He says urging anyone living on the block bound by Lorn, Yarrow, Tay and Lithgow streets to look for the knife.
