The Breast Cancer Foundation says 50 thousand women are overdue for their tests, which means three hundred women could have undiagnosed cancer.
CEO Ah-Leen Rayner says Pink Ribbon breakfasts, which raise money for the organisation, start today.
She says they're not just for fund-raising this year.
Rayner's asking participants to advocate on behalf of New Zealand women for targeted Government investment in more mammograms.
