Research from Auckland Council shows intensification isn't just something happening close to the central city

Research from Auckland Council shows intensification isn't just something happening close to the central city

It's found intensification is happening in nine other areas.

They are Albany/North Harbour, East Tamaki/Botany Junction, Ellerslie Office Park, Manukau/Wiri, the Onehunga/Mt Wellington area, Rosebank Peninsula, Takapuna and Wairau Valley

Housing consents back it up, showing 41 percent of new homes consented between 2016 and 2021 were within two kilometres of the nine areas.
