    Bruce Edgar's returning to Cricket Wellington's coaching ranks


    The former Black Caps player and selector been appointed as Director of Cricket for the upcoming summer, which includes coaching the Wellington Firebirds for the Plunket Shield season.

    It follows Glenn Pocknall stepping aside to lead the organisation's talent development programme.

    A new white ball coach for the Firebirds will be announced later this week.

    Edgar will step down as President of Cricket Wellington to take up the role.
