    New research shows nearly 50 percent New Zealanders are cutting back on medical spending


    Stats New Zealand reports inflation currently sits 7.3 percent, a 31 year high.

    Research New Zealand's Managing Partner Emanual Kalafatelis says he is shocked by medical care numbers.

    He says you have to take notice when 15 percent of people say they are not going to the doctor when feeling unwell.
