Police have arrested a man in Te Aroha, after a hunt triggered by a woman's death in Cambridge

Her body was found at a Richmond Road property about 1.30 this morning.

Police say they're speaking with the man, and will give an update on charges when they can.

The Herald's Caitlan Johnston has talked to several neighbours.

She says they were largely in the dark about what's happened.

She says they didn't hear anything overnight, and they're not familiar with the people living at the home.
