    The investigation into the death of a man in Bowentown near Waihi Beach yesterday is continuing


    Police were called to reports of disorder on Seaforth Road just before 1am.

    A man was found in a critical condition and given medical treatment but died at the scene.

    Officers are continuing to gather evidence and have identified and been speaking with those at the scene prior to the man's death.

    Police say they're not currently seeking anyone else in relation to the matter, and haven't arrested anyone.
