Environmental groups believe welcoming new overseas dairy companies to the Waikato, is a step too far

Environmental groups believe welcoming new overseas dairy companies to the Waikato, is a step too far

Singaporean-owned Olam Foods International, will add a dairy plant to Tokoroa in 2023-- which will be the Waikato's 14th.

Greenpeace campaigner Christine Rose, claims so many factories is damaging for the climate, rivers, and public health.

She believes people should be concerned that overseas companies are profiting off the destruction of our waterways and public health.

Christine Rose says instead of helping clean up the mess-- overseas companies will just take the profit offshore.
