A lack of homes on the market is probably contributing to increasing house prices in the capital

A lack of homes on the market is probably contributing to increasing house prices in the capital

Data from the latest QV House Price Index shows the average house price increased by 1.5 percent in September across Greater Wellington.

Kapiti and Hutt City performed better than average with monthly price jumps of nearly two and three percent.

QV general manager David Nagel says there's still a lot of demand in the capital - being driven by a lack of listings.
