    Queenstown may have been slammed by Covid-19, but it hasn't lost its beauty appeal


    It's been named one of the most searched destinations by Airbnb for the upcoming summer.

    The area sits at number two, behind Tauranga.

    The only other two South Island spots to make the top 10 list are Wanaka and Nelson.

    Airbnb's ANZ Country manager Susan Wheeldon says Queenstown is trans-seasonal.

    She says it's a family holiday favourite with watersports and hiking.
