Three men have been arrested in relation to the death of a man in New Plymouth last week

Three men have been arrested in relation to the death of a man in New Plymouth last week

23-year-old Rei Marshall was brought to Taranaki Base Hospital last Wednesday night -- but died from his injuries.

Three men, aged 25, 26 and 16, have been charged with murder -- and are due to appear in New Plymouth District Court tomorrow.

Police are now appealing to the public for sightings of two cars.

The first is a grey/silver 2005 Mazda Axela hatchback, with a damaged front driver's side headlight, any time from Tuesday August 2, but in particular in the New Plymouth area on Wednesday August 3 around 5.30pm.

The second is a smaller Japanese hatchback, possibly blue, seen in the vicinity of South Road the same night around 6pm.
