    There's been a serious incident at a workplace in the Christchurch suburb of Sockburn

    There's been a serious incident at a workplace in the Christchurch suburb of Sockburn


    Emergency services were called to Nga Mahi Road off Blenheim Road, near the Sockburn roundabout, at around 4am.

    One person has been taken to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition.

    A police spokesperson has confirmed the incident happened at a construction site, and a vehicle was involved.

    Enquiries are underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
