Anyone who may be looking after two missing girls is being urged to come forward

Anyone who may be looking after two missing girls is being urged to come forward

Ten-year-old Lily and eight-year-old Pearl, were taken in breach of a parenting order on Christmas Eve.

The last sighting on them was at 11pm on Monday at a South Auckland service station.

The car they were in, a silver 1994 Toyota Camry, was seen in New Plymouth yesterday morning.

A woman wanted in relation to their disappearance was found alone and arrested in Wellington last night.

Police say she's been meeting people through Facebook and it's possible she's left the children with one of them -- anywhere between Auckland and Wellington.

The woman is due in court today.
