    A woman has been arrested after a haul of drugs and weapons were seized in Central Otago


    Three search warrants were executed by police in Alexandra and Cromwell yesterday - relating to the supply of methamphetamine by people linked to organised crime in Christchurch and Invercargill.

    Methamphetamine, items used in the supply of the drug, utensils, ammunition, and a firearm were found at two Alexandra addresses.

    A 37-year-old local woman is due in the Alexandra District Court next Thursday, and police say more arrests are likely.
