Two off-duty Police officers have arrested a robbery suspect in Nelson, after recognising him as they walked through a shopping centre

Two off-duty Police officers have arrested a robbery suspect in Nelson, after recognising him as they walked through a shopping centre

The 19-year-old was wanted in relation to the robbery of a dairy on September 18.

A police spokesperson says the teen had fled the store empty handed, after a fog cannon activated.

The off duty officers recognised the man at Richmond Mall on Monday, recognising him from CCTV footage from the scene of the robbery.
