A new low for Otago cricket

A new low for Otago cricket

The men's side have been skittled for 47 as part of a nine wicket loss to Wellington in the T-20 Super Smash at Alexandra.

It's the lowest score in the history of the men's competition - the previous record of 72 was held by Wellington.

Otago won the the toss and opted to bat first.

Captain Dean Foxcroft has been asked what happened - on TVNZ Duke.

Smith - a former Otago player - earned man of the match honours after claiming four wickets for five runs from four overs.
