    Magic captain Ameliaranne Ekenasio believes her team's defensive unit deserve bouquets in netball's ANZ Premiership, ahead of this afternoon's clash against the Stars in Tauranga


    The duo of Erena Mikaere and Georgia Takarangi are both ranked in the top five in deflections, with Takarangi second in interceptions with 29.

    Along with wing defender Georgie Edgecombe, Ekenasio says the defence has been a key part of their team's success in 2024.
