A major bust of a fraudulent ACC claim operation has landed five people in court

Police were informed last November - of clients misusing an online platform to gain travel reimbursement funds.

All five are facing two charges of accessing a computer for dishonest purposes - and police enquires are continuing.

A thorough investigation of the fraud has produced no evidence of a cyber security breach - so clients can rest assured their data is secure.

Three women and a man are due in Hamilton District Court - while one woman is due in Manukau District Court.
