    Orange jersey holder Josh Burnett is refusing to jump the gun heading into the final two stages of the Tour of Southland


    The 2022 champion has a one minute and 41 second advantage over Matthew Wilson heading into the stage seven individual time trial this morning, followed by the concluding eighth stage in the afternoon - a 77-kilometre trek from Winton to Invercargill.

    Burnett is staying composed on the final day of racing.



    Stage seven begins at 10, with stage eight getting underway at 1.30.
