Those looking for a property in Invercargill may have to prepare to stretch their budget

Those looking for a property in Invercargill may have to prepare to stretch their budget

Recent QV House Price Index data shows the city experienced more home value growth on average, than any other large urban area in 2024 - with average prices sitting at almost half a million.

One Roof editor Owen Vaughn says while they're not expecting a price explosion in New Zealand this year, affordable places with work and good amenities will be impacted.

He says these locations will see a bit of pressure on prices as buyers start to turn their focus.
