    Two men have been arrested over an alleged assault involving firearms in Christchurch


    Police were called to Somerfield just after midnight.

    A victim reported being surrounded by a group and assaulted - including by two armed people.

    A 41-year-old and 58-year-old are in custody, and police say charges may follow.
