Auckland Transport's annual report shows they've made huge strides despite Covid-19

A record 862.1-million-dollars was invested in new infrastructure and asset renewals -- which is about 95 per cent of its budgeted capital programme.

While about 160 construction sites were closed during Alert Level Four -- the agency managed to minimise delays and costs, and remobilise quickly once restrictions lifted.

It says work's progressing well on the Downtown programme, Karangahape Road upgrade and the Eastern Busway.
