Tens of businesses across Northland are shutting up shop today after news of a Covid-19 exposure

Tens of businesses across Northland are shutting up shop today after news of a Covid-19 exposure

The 56-year-old woman who tested positive, visited 30 locations from January 14 to the 22nd.

Many locations the woman visited are closing for a few days for deep cleaning and to ensure staff are well.

The South Head General Store west of Helensville, Kaiwaka's Eutopia Cafe, and Matakohe's Kauri Museum and Gumdiggers Cafe, are some which have posted on social media to let customers know.

Even the Te Awamutu Space Centre has made the decision to close - after the manager was exposed while holidaying in Northland.
