    A pedestrian's been seriously hurt after a hit and run in Auckland this morning


    The person was struck by a car on Sandringham Road shortly before 4am.

    Police say the vehicle left the scene immediately after and hasn't yet been located.

    The road's closed while a scene examination takes place and police want to hear from anyone who may have information.
