    An investigation is underway after one person died in a crash in Karaka, in south Auckland last night


    Emergency services were called the Walters Road and Blackbridge Road intersection shortly before 9pm after reports that a car had hit a bank.

    One of the occupants couldn't be revived by first responders and died at the scene - a second was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
