Covid lockdowns and political and economic turmoil are being blamed for the closure of another Wellington restaurant

Covid lockdowns and political and economic turmoil are being blamed for the closure of another Wellington restaurant

Daisy's has been operating on Tinakori Road in Thorndon for eight years, and was run as the Tinakori Bistro for 30 years before that.

Owner Asher Boote announced on social media that with its lease coming to an end, it will close at the end of the month.

He says operating the restaurant has had a large toll on them and they'll be taking some time out.
