    A person's died after crashing a stolen motorbike in Auckland this afternoon


    Police saw the bike speeding away from them in Pukekohe shortly before 12.30, before another unit discovered the crash on McShane Street a short time later.

    The rider died at the scene.

    As standard procedure, the Independent Police Conduct Authority will be notified.
