Two people have been arrested during coordinated simultaneous drug and firearms busts in Manawatu and Auckland

Police say they searched two properties in Feilding and Manurewa following reports of illegal dealing between the locations.

They seized cannabis, methamphetamine, five-thousand dollars cash, a pistol and ammunition.

A 45-year-old man in Feilding and a 47-year old man in Manurewa are both facing charges.

Police say further charges are possible, as they look through electronic devices.
