Auckland FC's Jake Brimmer believes the presence of their supporters - the Port - may be their lucky charm

Auckland FC's Jake Brimmer believes the presence of their supporters - the Port - may be their lucky charm

The Black Knights' recent three-game Australia roadtrip only returned four of an available nine points, with three of those coming in front of a strong travelling Port contingent against the Brisbane Roar.

Brimmer is hoping the return home will help shake off an injury-hampered start of the season for himself, but the influential Aussie midfielder remains wary of the threat that the Central Coast Mariners will pose to the league leaders today.

    Kickoff in Auckland's at 5pm.
