The daughter of a Christchurch mosque attack victim says it's shocking to have terrorist Brenton Tarrant back before the courts

The daughter of a Christchurch mosque attack victim says it's shocking to have terrorist Brenton Tarrant back before the courts

He's seeking to overturn his guilty pleas to murder, attempted murder and terrorism charges, over the 2019 attacks that killed 51 people.

The hearing will look at whether his prison conditions affected his ability to plead.

Sara Qasem's father died in the attack.

She told TVNZ - this will be used as a platform for him to express his violent and dark points of view.

Qasem says it's jarring and not a situation they expected to be in again.
