Auckland police have caught a motorcyclist with nearly twice the legal breath alcohol limit early this morning

Auckland police have caught a motorcyclist with nearly twice the legal breath alcohol limit early this morning

Officers tracked two people on a Harley Davidson who'd sped through a red light on Papatoetoe's Great South Road about 2am.

They tracked them by helicopter to a nearby property, where officers also found drug items.

A 48-year-old man will be summonsed to court for a drink driving offence and a 34-year-old woman has been arrested for an unrelated arrest warrant.
