    Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal motorcycle crash yesterday north of Wellington


    The motorcyclist appears to have left State Highway 58 between James Cook Drive and Joseph Banks Drive.

    He was found critically injured around midday but died at the scene.

    Police want to hear from anyone who saw a black BMW motorcycle travelling around that time, or witnessed the crash.
