An Auckland woman who stabbed her partner to death has been found NOT guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter

21 February 2020

Karen Ruddelle stabbed Joseph Ngapera twice in the chest.

She says she was acting in self defence trying to protect herself and her teenage son after years of domestic violence.

She'll be sentenced in April.
