Confidence levels in Canterbury business have flat lined but experts remain cautiously optimistic

Confidence levels in Canterbury business have flat lined but experts remain cautiously optimistic

Business Canterbury's Quarterly Survey revealed consumer confidence and demand has levelled off in 2025, after a strong boost in late 2024.

CEO, Leeann Watson says with the Canterbury population up 40-thousand since 2018, they're heading in the right direction and performing better than other parts of the country.

She says when the broader market conditions improve, they're well positioned for rapid growth.
