    Local electricity providers have been working to restore outages in parts of Nelson Tasman and Banks Peninsula


    Network Tasman says there are now just over 300 properties without power, and restoration work will resume in the morning.

    Nelson Tasman Civil Defence says water supply has now been restored to Tapawera, Riwaka, and Kaiteriteri.
