The Warriors have clinched their first NRL win in more than a month, after a 34-14 victory over the Tigers in Auckland

The Warriors have clinched their first NRL win in more than a month, after a 34-14 victory over the Tigers in Auckland

The hosts overcame an early Wests try to take the lead in the eighth minute, and led 16-8 at the break.

The Warriors held at least an eight point buffer for the entirety of the second spell, and scored six tries to three for their 11th win of the season.

Captain James Fisher-Harris told Sky Sport it was a hard fought win.

The Warriors remain fourth on the ladder.

Earlier, the Warriors women beat the Eels 14-nil for their first win of their return NRL-W season.
