A poor performance at the LPGA pairs event for New Zealand golf great Dame Lydia Ko

The Olympic champion and her U.S. buddy Danielle Kang have officially missed the cut in Michigan.

Ko and Kang were three shots away from making the weekend.

But another Kiwi, rookie Fiona Zu , and HER American partner ... Mariel Galdiano ... will play on.

They're sitting in a share of 17th on six under par, seven strokes behind the leading USA-Irish combination.
