Dame Sophie Pascoe's riding solo at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games

Dame Sophie Pascoe's riding solo at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games

The 29-year-old has been selected in a 12 strong New Zealand swimming team, and she's competing in just one event - the 100 metres freestyle S9.

It'll be Pascoe's first event without long time coach Roly Crichton , after parting ways earlier this month.

But she's confident she can handle it.

Also included in the New Zealand squad is Lewis Clareburt, Erika Fairweather and Tupou Neiufi .
