A number of swimming warnings remain in place at dozens of Auckland beaches

More than 50 have been slapped with red warning labels, and is triggered when the likelihood of getting sick from swimming is higher than two percent.
It comes after heavy rain and storms battered the region over the weekend, putting stress on parts of the storm and wastewater networks.
Popular spots such as St Heliers, Herne Bay, Browns Bay and Cockle Bay are all on a short-term high risk-warning.
